GummySearch review
The Reddit audience-research tool that closed its doors
GummySearch was, for years, the dominant Reddit audience research tool. It helped founders, marketers, and product teams discover pain points, validate ideas, and explore subreddit communities through a polished, AI-assisted search interface. In late 2025 the team announced they were winding down commercial operations and stopped accepting new customers.
Existing customers who got grandfathered before the shutdown.
No longer available to new customers. Existing users on legacy plans are reportedly being supported through their current term.
Strengths
- Best-in-class Reddit-specific audience research workflow
- Sophisticated AI summaries of subreddit conversations
- Strong filtering and pain-point clustering
- Polished, well-loved UX
Weaknesses
- Discontinued - no new signups, no roadmap
- Was research-only, never engagement or conversion
- Existing users have no migration tooling
